Enhanced payment sheet
Apple Pay is introducing an updated design for users when they check out on the web and in apps. The design allows them to seamlessly swipe to switch cards, conveniently surfacing important information about their eligible cards in Apple Wallet — including rewards, balances, debit account balance, pay later options, and more — so they can make more informed payment decisions.1
Dynamic buttons
Introduced with iOS 26, Apple Pay buttons now support dynamic content injection. Available across all button types in apps, the user's default card art now appears directly in the Apple Pay button, providing a clear visual signal that Apple Pay is set up and ready to use before the payment sheet opens.2
Upper funnel merchandising element
The upper funnel merchandising element allows merchants to highlight Apple Pay’s flexible payment options — such as available installment plans3 — using dynamic messaging throughout the consumer journey (e.g., product detail pages, cart). The feature includes two components — a widget and its accompanying modal — that provide customers with additional information about Apple Pay payment options available on the web and in apps on iPhone or iPad.
Tap to Share
Tap to Share lets merchants use their iPhone to connect to a customer's device with a simple NFC tap, enabling seamless data exchange at checkout. Customers can share contact details for membership sign-up, provide a shipping address or email for digital receipts, add or share Wallet passes, view their itemized cart, and pay with Apple Pay. Tap to Share requires an active Tap to Pay on iPhone session.4

Merchant tokens
Enable recurring and deferred transactions on the web and in your app using merchant tokens. The Preauthorized Payments section in Apple Wallet gives people an even clearer view of their ongoing financial commitments — from subscriptions and auto-reloads to installment loan repayments, recurring billing, and deferred payments. People can also manage their recurring charges with merchants or issuers, including revoking payment authorization directly from Apple Wallet.5
Support for third-party browsers
Enable Apple Pay on your website for more browsers6 on Mac, PCs, and beyond. Customers can easily initiate Apple Pay from any computer and securely complete payment on their iPhone by scanning a code. Simply add the Apple Pay JS SDK to your existing Apple Pay integration to extend support to more browsers and devices.
Transfer funds with Apple Pay
Let customers initiate a transfer of funds from an account to a card in Wallet. They can avoid manually entering card details by simply selecting the destination of funds directly on the payment sheet, with a concise view of any transfer fees set by the merchant.
Pay multiple merchants in a single transaction
Offer the ability to specify purchase amounts for multiple merchants within a single Apple Pay payment sheet. This allows the flexibility to let customers make a bundled purchase, such as a travel package with flight, rental car, and hotel, then send payments to individual merchants.
